House Bill 597: The Undue Burden on Reciprocity

State Representative Kyle Koehler is trying to curb reciprocity agreements with other medical marijuana states if they don't have "substantially comparable" rules to Ohio's.

United Ohio's Lissa Satori discusses how these effectively limits Ohio's reciprocity to Pennsylvania, New York and Minnesota.

Representative Koehler fails to realize that when patients who are certified in another state come to Ohio, they don't get to follow their own states laws - they have to follow Ohio's. House Bill 597 is completely unnecessary and adds an undue burden on patients.
